I hoped maybe this would get better, but by the time I had half the map unlocked and had found several "loot" places. it is a pair of green level glasses that were worse than what I had on. I was so excited the first time I solved a puzzle and opened a treasure vault and was so deeply disappoint when I got to the bottom of the tunnel and there is this massive chest. I think this is probably the second thing I am most disappointed in. The Loot system is boring: You really can't even say there is a loot system. The closest thing I have seen to good and bad is a few dialogue options here and there that are just pretty much Malfoy level comments where the person you are talking to doesn't really give a crap. Instead, you can use Avada Kadavra in from of a professor and they are just like "You are a good boy, well done". In fact I kind of hoped there would be a kind of karma system where using the unforgivable curses would take away karma and if you used it where you shouldn't people would stop liking you. Heck, change it up and be a good slytherin and evil Gryphindor! Unfortunately, there are abosultely no repercussions for any actions. You could play as a Gryphindor (Ravenclaw in my case) and do all good, then go back and play as a Slytherin dark wizard. This was going to make it so that replay value would be fun. I was under the impression that you would be able to choose a "light" or "dark" side and go down a path or a dark wizard or stay as a good wizard. A lack of a Morality system: This is actually one of the biggest items I was disappointed with in this game. With that being said, there are several issues I have, after 100% the game with a platinum trophy and over 100 hours of game play. The graphics are amazing and spent so much time just exploring Hogwarts and the lands and lore abound. The more people the better! Kept me on the edge of my seat every time and you really had to think on your feet. I never got tired of going into a heated battle. The fighting system is freaking awesome and super fun. It lives up to the hype and I will recommend it to anyone. I don’t understand the high reviews at all.I will preface by saying that this game is amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. The lore is cool and this game had potential to be one of the greats. Gameplay is alright but not much depth to it, could have done a lot more. It breaks the pacing so much (btw which this game has horrible pacing). What is this an MMO? It’s horrible game design, is the story that short that they want you to reach a certain level before you can proceed? For an open world game I should have choice in what I want to do. The game forces you to do side quests and focuses on them so much to the point it locks you behind the main story until you reach a certain level. The characters are extremely one dimensional, the story is sleep inducingly boring to the point where I don’t care. The novelty of the game wears off after a few hours. Every single door has a loading screen or maybe my game is broken The game plays very much like a PS4 game at heart. It doesn’t use the power of the SSD on the ps5 at all. First of all the game has insane loading screens.
